In the course of the digitalisation of production in the context of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, sustainable, robust and human-centric production processes must be implemented that focus on the well-being of employees. The integration of digital technologies such as deep tech solutions, robotics and artificial intelligence can lead to an increase in productivity and the manufacture of more sustainable products. However, there is a lack of in-service training programmes in this area. This results in the need to develop various digital learning scenarios. Digitalisation will permanently change the world of work and create new career prospects, which is why it is essential to provide professionals with further training opportunities that prepare them for the changes in their professional lives.
The DRUMS project addresses this need and focusses on the:
• Developing teaching materials on the topics of manufacturing, deep tech, robotics, AI and sustainability.
• Analysing key skills in the context of the manufacturing sector.
• Addressing technological challenges through human-centred solutions.
An international alliance of European institutes and research centres enables the creation of a transnational training offer that takes national needs into account.
The project results are continuously presented on this website.
